Sixpence None The Richer – Kiss Me

Dawson’s Creek‘ was one the best teen set drama, and its one of popular songs is “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer…

Song Lyrics:
Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

[Chorus:]
Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon’s sparkling
So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map

[Chorus (repeat)]

Songs From Dawson’s Creek 2

songs from dawson's creek 2And here is ‘Songs From Dawson’s Creek 2‘…

The second volume of music from Dawson’s Creek features another eclectic mix of the evocative tunes that made the WB show such a hit. That includes Jessica Simpson’s “I Think I’m in Love,” Five for Fighting’s “Superman,” and Shawn Colvin’s “Never Saw Blue Like That.” The closer is “Daydream Believer,” the beautiful acoustic version sung by frequent DC artist Mary Beth Maziarz that proved critical in season 3. Not included on either of the two DC soundtrack albums is Beth Nielsen Chapman’s extremely moving “Say Goodnight,” which was heard in both the first-season finale and in the series finale. –David Horiuchi

Songs From Dawson’s Creek

songs from dawson's creekDo u guys still remember this great teen-tv series?!? Yeah, Dawson’s Creek, which is produced in 1998, has been able to capture the hearts of every teenager with its stories.

This souvenir from the popular teen television drama contains several high-profile pop smashes tied to the show (Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me,” Paula Cole’s “I Don’t Want to Wait,” and Shawn Mullins’s “Shimmer”), along with a number of other tracks similar in tone and style. That is to say, if those songs’ slightly wounded romanticism appeals to you, you’re likely to find something else here you’ll dig. –Rickey Wright

Glee: The Music, Volume 1 [Soundtrack]

glee: the music, volume 1 (soundtrack)GLEE, which features a soundtrack of hit music from past to present, follows an optimistic high school teacher, WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison), as he tries to refuel his own passion while reinventing the high school’s glee club and challenge a group of outcasts to realize their star potential. It’s not an easy task when the pitch-imperfect club includes MERCEDES (Amber Riley), a forceful diva-in-training; ARTY (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist; KURT (Chris Colfer), a dramatic soprano; TINA (Jenna Ushkowitz), a punk rocker; and self-proclaimed “star” RACHEL (Lea Michele), a perfectionist firecracker.

McKinley’s cruel high school caste system prevents the glee club from flourishing, so Will recruits FINN (Cory Monteith), the quarterback with movie star looks, to join the group even though he wants to protect his reputation with his holier-than-thou girlfriend, QUINN (Dianna Agron), and his arrogant teammate, PUCK (Mark Salling). With harsh criticism from everyone including Will’s tough-as-nails wife TERRI (Jessalyn Gilsig) and McKinley’s egotistical cheerleading coach SUE SYLVESTER (Jane Lynch), he is determined to prove them all wrong and lead the glee club to the greatest competition of them all: Nationals.
