The French Canadian pop punk band releases its fourth studio trying to retrieve the image from its inception.

It’s scary to face this new album Simple Plan when one, after reading the title, look at the cover. And it is worse when we have the most recent of these are issues like Your Love Is A Lie or When I’m Gone.

‘Get Your Heart On! “

The fourth studio album Simple Plan is not, as drummer Chuck Comeau promised a return to its beginnings. The deception lasts ten seconds, which form the intro to You Suck At Love. As the verse comes and starts to smell the pop mainstream that has characterized the last works of the band. A Simple Plan like it must have both (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To Weezer’s Rivers Custom who invited to make a stronger version of it.

This is how it presents Can not Keep My Hands Off You, the second cut of the album and possibly the best. Then when he gets Jet Lag, which finally removes the mask of the pop punk band of the hand of the guest voice of Natasha Bedingfield. In this way we prepare to continue listening to the album closer to power pop that Simple Plan has made to date. Some ballads later we will find Freaking Me Out (in collaboration with Alex Gaskarth, All Time Low frontman) and confirm the new direction of the band.

The rest of the album consists of catchy and forgettable ballads. Summer Paradise except that, with K’naan, is presented as a nice summer song designed to slip into any spot of beer framed in a Mediterranean island.

In the lyrics of the album with adolescent predominates. For a 32 year old singer is sometimes too childish (I’m at a party in a mansion, there ‘s a lot of high fashion, and I’m cooler than I’ve ever been. So what you Think About That? – Loser Of The Year).

At this point we can say that Simple Plan has focused its efforts on becoming a single factory, repeating the same formula in all courts of record. Of course, once taken this too should be recognized that this time he has done well. With ‘Get Your Heart On! “, Simple Plan has achieved what he sought in his previous namesake. You can even we are facing one of their best albums, but despite her love of her first two titles.

Business Vision

I’d Do Anything, with the voice of BLNK-182 bassist Mark Hoppus, we had 9 years to a real pop punk band who knew how to mix the genre with more mainstream pop without losing a bit of fun and identity . So Simple Plan came quickly to the stage of the Warped Tour. But judging by how distributed releases “No Pads, No Helmets … Just Balls’ in different countries, it seems that the ambition of the Canadian quintet went a little further.

Accompanied from his first studio album for Atlantic Records, the band has always had a good view of the market. An example of this is the song that closes this latest release, This Song Saved My Life, inspired by thousands of tweets that asked their fans through their profile on the popular social network. Or the French version of latest single Jet Lag with the collaboration of Marie-Mai. Besides having worked more than once with producers and writers of the American pop scene as Max Martin and Danja.

Lady Gaga surprises us more than welcome with the video for her new single, “You and I”.

The controversial and outrageous Lady Gaga on Tuesday August 16 launched worldwide, the video for her new single “You and I”. This song is the fourth theme to promote his second studio album The Fame Monster which was released in May 2011.

Lady Gaga, You and I

More of “You and I”

Previously, the last video of the song The Edge of Glory, a good part of the public, fans and music critics were left wanting something more captivating and seductive as Angelina Joanne Stefani (Lady GaGa) is characterized by catching the attention and emotions regardless of musical preference.

This time the New Yorker more than redeemed himself since the degree of creativity and assertiveness is notorious. Repeated once again as a choreographer for Gibson Laurieann Gaga and is also co-producer of the video. The visual effects are highly attractive.

First Lady Gaga is walking with a particular dress, dress fancy to which we are accustomed. However, it is as if for the first time we saw it, that kind of reinvention is unique. Jump to our view the current trend in fashion for hats and headgear, no one like her to get dressed in contrasting black in the middle of a landscape with blue skies and green fields.

The surprises of “You and I”

Of the elements that most impact is the fact that there are a large part of the video where we see almost no makeup, wearing a simple, playing the piano and at the same time, there is his alter ego, Jo Calderone, the male version. Lady also plays a siren and a woman are doing a Frankenstein-style experiment. The latter is a bit shocking because during key parts of the melody come in love and pictures of her traditional wedding dress.

One of the reasons for which latent Gaga has established itself quickly is the strength to take risks, to express any feelings or ideas that pass through it but apparently can be crazy and doing things as abnormal.

Just recall the boldness he had with Bad Romance video where he won almost two hundred thousand million views on YouTube video channel, one of the most viewed videos of all time. People were delighted with choreography that have now been become part of a trend rather than musical.

You and I have all the elements of an excellent video. The lyrics of the song is simple, direct and is mostly sympathetic to the audience’s emotions. A total accuracy and authenticity of this talented and multifaceted woman.

Not included on either of the two DC soundtrack albums is Beth Nielsen Chapman’s extremely moving “Say Goodnight,” which was heard in both the first-season finale and in the series finale. –David Horiuchi

On Recovery, his seventh major label studio album, EMINEM has reached out to an exciting list of first-time collaborators, including DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Boi-1da, among others.

EMINEM releases Recovery just over a year after his last album, 2009′s Relapse. Relapse put the cap on an impressive ten years of recorded output, and contributed to EMINEM being the biggest selling artist of 2000-2009. In recognition of this, Neilsen SoundScan named him their Artist of the Decade. Relapse entered the charts at #1 and, at nearly double platinum, was the best selling rap album of last year.

It also earned EMINEM his 11th Grammy award, winning in the Best Rap Album category. Relapse’s first single, “Crack A Bottle” from EMINEM, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, soared to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Eminem’s second #1 after 2002′s “Lose Yourself”) and set a SoundScan record at the time of its release for opening week download sales (418,000). The album also spun off two other hits; the Top 10 “We Made You” and Top 20 “Beautiful.”

“I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year,” remarked EMINEM. “But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title.”

EMINEM has sold more than 78,000,000 albums worldwide. After 1999′s quadruple platinum The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) and The Eminem Show (2002) became two of the Top 5 best selling albums of the 2000s, with approximately 10,000,000 copies of each sold in the U.S. alone. 2004′s Grammy-nominated Encore reached #1 and was certified quadruple platinum. The #1, double platinum, 2005 greatest hits collection Curtain Call: The Hits and #2, platinum, 2006 various artists compilation Eminem Presents: The Re-Up followed.
