Isabelle Oehmichen – The French pianist
The French pianist Isabelle Oehmichen currently pursuing an activity sustained solo pianist, in recital, with orchestra or chamber music in France and in many countries (Britain, USA, Canada, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic , Finland, Germany, Hungary).

First Grand Prix Milosz Magin International Competition 1989 and winner of the Foundation Cziffra 1993, she often participates in radio and television (filmed in recital Zelazowa Wola, birthplace of Chopin 2nd Concerto of Saint-Saens’ s Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest Bartók Live Radio).
She has already recorded 11 CDs:
At Polskie-Nagrania, Chopin and Magin, in 1990, then at Marcal-Classics, works by Sauguet Collet, Liszt concertos with orchestra Weiner Wissmer, Mozart, Dohnanyi (sudden heart of the Piano-Magazine-March 2003) and A & A a recital romantic “Fairy”. Again at Marcal, Isabelle Oehmichen in 2006 released a CD devoted to Chopin (Nocturnes and Concerto No. 1 opus11) and a recording of piano works of French composer Stephane Blet. His 12th CD is dedicated to the complete Nocturnes of Carl Czerny, recording made its world premiere for the label Hortus (Released in March 2010, distribution Codaex).
Isabelle Oehmichen was invited as a soloist at prestigious concerts with symphony orchestras: Leon Barzin Orchestra under the direction of Jean-Jacques Werner (concerto Wissmer Salle Gaveau), the orchestra Dinu Lipatti with Hungarian leaders, and Richard Weninger German, Franz Lamprecht (Chopin concerto with the Philharmonic Orchestra Satu Mare and Grieg concerto in Germany), Leo Weiner Orchestra, Hungary (concertos by Mozart, Chopin and Saint-Saens in Hungary and on tour in France). She gives each year many concerts and recitals, chamber music and has created, in 2006 the “Trio Primavera” (violin, cello and piano) with soloists Hungarian high level.
Apart from being a concert pianist, Isabelle Oehmichen is also an educator, provides master classes and lectured at the Sorbonne on Interpretation romantic piano (in the seminars of the “Musical Heritage”). She is artistic director of Musical Association Franco-Hungarian
(AMFH) in Paris and co-directs an Academy Summer Chamber Music in Budapest.
