Kylie Minogue premieres Santa Baby video
Kylie Minogue in 2000 recorded the Christmas classic “Santa Baby” and released as single B-side of Please Stay, his seventh album “Light Years. ”
Now 10 years later, the singer has rescued the track and included it on a digital EP of Christmas available on iTunes Spain. This EP includes three songs: the aforementioned and “Aphrodite” and “Can not Beat The Feeling, two tracks from his current eleventh work” Aphrodite. ”
And to accompany it, what better than a video where Kylie appears next to the Christmas tree full of gifts and she characterized as a sweet pin-up.
In turn, this video is added to the “Let It Snow”, another classic carol recorded in 2010, presented just weeks ago.
Marina & The Diamonds: The Family Jewels
The album has a musical line clear enough, but there are several styles mixed in it. Predominates, yes, the fresh and fun synth pop, but with touches of other things depending on the track where you are. Produced (among others) by Greg Kurstin, her hand is quite noticeable, because there are songs that remind you Lily Allen ( ‘Girls’), to Kylie Minogue ( ‘Shampain’, ‘Hollywood’) and others that put you to the head until you can not stop repeating ‘Uh, uhhh! “(” Mowgli’s Road’).
However, neither the disks supposedly funny one pound of Baladitas piano ( ‘Obsessions’), something closer to this group yet bands like Dragonette, with those who also bear a certain resemblance. Both in style and eclecticism in musical compositions, vocals and themes (the luxury, the guys who let you run, the one-night stands, guilt …). Of course, so that the disc you like, you may first have to overcome the laziness of the voice of Diamandis, who is not-not nearly-recommended for all audiences.
