Benavent. Di Geraldo. Pardo

The trio Carles Benavent, Tino Di Geraldo, Jorge Pardo is by distillation of the previous group of Jorge Pardo and Carles Benavent, the sextet that made history in the new flamenco and who accomplished his cycle in the summer of ’98 with a tour of apotheosis most important jazz festivals that took them from Vitoria to Montreal. At the sextet, and this is a rigorous historical fact began to develop improvisation on the support of the most rigorous rhythmic flamenco, and jazz with an attitude based on the compositions of Pardo and Benavent contained in their previous albums.
The first CD, The Seville Concert, was recorded in the Central Theater of Seville in 1999.

The last disc “Unprecedented” includes original themes by the three components of the band and they prove their maturity and complicity after they have acquired a lot of years working together around the world. If you get the chance, it is really worth getting concert tickets to see the trio live.

Vicente Amigo has left the skin on this album, an album where the guitarist condenses his career and once again surprised. After five years without publishing a solo album, Vicente Amigo returns with ‘A moment in sound’. A very flamenco album in which he is accompanied by Tino di Geraldo and Joan Albert Amargós and singers Antonio Villar and ‘Potito’. ‘A moment in sound’ draws attention from the beginning. The originality of the explosive rhythmic rumba ‘Demipatí’, the delicacy of the soleá ‘Mosque’, the development of bulería ‘Golf Truth’ composed for the bullfighter Jose Tomás.Vicente friend has left the skin on this album, disk on which the guitarist condenses his career and once again surprised.
